Disabled Access

Faerie Festival aims to be open and inclusive to everyone.  In this section we have included as much access information as possible – however, if there’s something we’ve missed out, or if you would rather discuss in person – don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Free Carers Passes

The allocation of complimentary carer / PA tickets is intended to assist those who would otherwise be unable to attend the event. The carer / PA who attends should be capable of undertaking all of the disabled patron's needs and access requirements. In order to ensure that our carer / PA ticket policy is not abused, we ask all customers who have indicated the need for a carer / PA ticket to provide some form of supporting documentation upon arrival. This could be a scan or photocopy (or even a picture taken on your mobile) of your DLA / PIP entitlement letter, or CredAbility Access Card. Feel free to cross out any information that relates to reference numbers, amount of benefit paid or health conditions etc.

Priority for carer / PA tickets is given to customers who are:

  • In receipt of middle or higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility

  • In receipt of Personal Independence Payment

  • Deaf or registered blind

To obtain a carers pass when assisting somebody 18+ please purchase your ticket to the event and bring a copy of the supporting documentation as listed above. We will then issue an extra pass for your carer and advise where is best to park.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking areas are available upon prior request. Please Contact Us once you have purchased your event ticket/s so we can make a note against your booking.

Main attractions are all 150m-200m from the parking area.

Please note that due to the nature of the venue the ground is not entirely level in some places and we advise visitors to take caution when moving across the site.

Site Layout

The festival site itself consists of two mostly flat grassy fields. On one field there is a large marquee which acts as the music tent, a bar, food and drink stalls, traders selling gifts plus two workshop/activity tents. There is also a children's activities area which is open Saturday and Sunday.

Toilets & Showers

An accessible toilet can be located close the main arena and also in the camping areas. unfortunately our shower facilities are not accessible. We are working on this - please bare with us!

First Aid
Professional first aiders can be located in the main arena area and are available throughout the duration of the event.
